What we tested
We have given Remy the 12-inch Mighty Paw Naturals bully sticks as a chew when he needs something he is actually excited to settle down with. The main test is pretty simple: does he want it, does it hold his attention, and does the smell take over the room?
These passed all three. Remy knows the sound of the bag as soon as we open it, and he is immediately ready for one.
What worked
The biggest win is how simple they are. The listing identifies a single ingredient: beef pizzle. Mighty Paw also describes the sticks as grass-fed beef chews with no added flavors or artificial preservatives.
They are also noticeably lower odor than other bully sticks we have tried. Lower odor does not mean zero odor, but the difference is real enough that we keep reaching for these instead of the other bags.
What did not work
Nothing major in our testing. They are still bully sticks, so there is some smell and they are not a quick little training treat. As with any chew, we supervise Remy and take away the small end when it is time.
Remy's take
Remy's review is not subtle. The second this bag opens, he is interested. He loves these and does not need any convincing.
Worth buying?
Yes. We recommend these highly if your dog likes bully sticks and you want a simple single-ingredient chew that smells less intense than a lot of the alternatives. We use the 12-inch sticks for Remy.
